Tonight I cannot be with my df...and I can't sleep without him! How do some of you ladies do it? At least I have my little man to cuddle with.

Sleeping pills.

I was getting 1, maybe 2 hours of sleep during DF's first deployment. They tried a lot of sleeping pills that didnt work, finally they had to give me an anti psychotic medication to get me to fall asleep! It was terrible. :(

Oh momma..here I am complaining about one night, and you have it much worse off than me. Thank your husband for me. He is doing an awesome thing, and I am grateful for what he does.

If it were going to be a regular thing, I would have some ideas for you. Being just one night... I have no clue what will help. The first time dh and I spent a night apart I cried myself to sleep! Now he's a trucker, and I do it 4 nights a week, and I don't nurse anymore so I can just keep myself busy until I pass out and take a 5-hour in the morning!
