Advice needed for trousers to flatter my pear shape!

This is a very recent pic of me. I'm 5' 10", large boned, and a size 14. As you can see, I have a pear shape with large hips & thighs (but my bootie is small comparatively). Actually my entire leg is too large for my waist, and slim or regular fit pants are too tight on my legs and look terrible. Newport News has these wide-leg twill trousers that I think will be very flattering to my wonky figure. What do you think?

I went and looked at them on the website. Yes, I think they would work.

Another thing you can do, for example, in the outfit in the pic, would be to button the bottom buttons on your sweater, then unbutton the top ones. Wear a camisole if it shows too much cleavage.

What this does is minimize your hips and draw the focus more towards your collar bone. That way it gives you the appearance of more of an hour glass figure.

Also, it looks like you might be wearing the wrong bra size.

Thank you for the tips about wearing my cardigan. As for my bra size, I've recently bought smaller because of weightloss. I'm now a 36B. Well, more like a B- LOL! I tried 34's and can't get them to fasten, so I know I'm a 36. Gosh I haven't tried an A-cup, and though I don't quite fill up the B, I really think the A would be too small. Thanks, though!

Thanks, .kk. Gosh, maybe I'll lose even more inches off my bust with the rest of the weight I want to drop, and really get into an A-cup. I used to be a C-cup, FFS. NOT nice for a single almost-40 girl, NOT fair! ; P
