Do You Trust Your In-Laws?

If your mother or father in-law offered to take your kid for you would you trust them to take care of the child or would you keep a watchful eye on them?

Also are your kids allowed to spend over night at your in-laws?

I'm just curious.

Sadly I don't have any inlaws. I wish my MIL had been alive when my boys were born. Yes I would have let her keep my boys. She raised my husband and he is a wonderful man.

Yes and yes my children used to stay the night with my in laws just about every weekend, and even now that my kids are older if there is something that needs done and hubby or I cant be there my in laws are at the top of my list to call even before my parents

My MIL is older and in poor health.  I do not think she would be up for taking care of 2 very rambunctious boys over night.

I trust my inlaws fully!  And they would ASK to spend time with my kids anytime they want to. Unfortunatly they live 1300 miles from me.

I trust my sons fathers mother. Not my sons fathers step dad.

I dunno. Our custody agreement says that our son cannot be alone with his fathers parents. His father requested it.

They never offer or visit, they're "busy". Honestly, I don't think I would allow unsupervised visits, they're major alcoholics.
