If a child is mentally ill...

and diagnosed at a very young age, do you think it is something that the parents must have caused or contributed to?

  NO because I am not qualified to deicded what caused the child to be mentally ill.

Nope.  Genetically predisposed to mental illness due to the parents, but not a direct cause.

Some kids are just like adults.....the wiring is a tad off in their head.

I personally believe that mental illness is genetic and that the parents are not to be blamed. However, I think the parents can be blamed if they do not get the child the right treatment or raise them in a bad environment. My parents both had depression really bad, and now all my siblings and I do. I dont think my siblings and I would have struggled as bad if we didnt grow up in an abusive home. If that makes any sense.

 Nope, its something they were most likely born with or genetically born to get sometime in their lives. JMHO

No. My son was premature. I didn't cause that. He had a brain bleed, and has some issues.
