My dh had a friend come over and he is staying the night (has muscular dystraphy(sp) can't get back in his house without a bus picking him up and someone to help him unlock the door.) But today he brought one of his friends she was suppose to stay for a little whole and her sister was coming to get her. Well here it is at 930pm and her sister decided she doesnt wanna come get her. Well my dh has been drinking pretty heavily probably 6-10 beers over a 3hr time plus allergy medicine there is no way he is driving. And she is now hinting if I could take her home. She lives in the worst neighborhood plus my dh is drunk and he'd be here with the kids. I don't wanna leave the him here alone with the kids even if they are sleeping. Our deal is either of us can drink but the other has to have only 1 or 2 drinks or none at all. I don't wanna take her its the first time I met her too. Do you think it's bad if I don't and make her find her own ride home?

I would tell her to find her own ride or call a cab.

You stay home and deal with your family because she needs to find her own ride home.

Find her own ride or call a cab. I would not leave my children home with someone who is intoxicated or take someone I barely know into a bad area alone.

psh.  Make them find their own rides home.  Not your issue.

She has no money. So no cab and she is now pouting in the garage cause she has no ride anywhere and doesn't want to stay here. But the only reason my dh is drinking is cause I am here sober.

I'd let her sleep on my couch.

I offered but she doesn't want to. She doesn't feel comfortable sleeping here.

Oh well - Thats her fault. Don't let her guilt you into taking her anywhere.
