For those who might recall yesterday morning's post, I am meeting up with the tattoo artist next week to discuss pricing and place a deposit.

I had been considering this, originally:

 Right down to the caption.

After discussing a few ideas with my boss, we started to go thru my drawings.  I have even considered getting one of them tattoo'd instead.  Boss suggested this one, which was one of the ones I've been considering:

Caption would be: "How rough do you want it?"

Which one????  I'm leaning towards the drawing.

I don't like the first at all. The second one I like, you are very talented.

The only downside being that I would have to touch up the drawing a bit (fix his nose mainly and correct some of the shading).  That takes a bit of time.

It will go between my shoulder blades, if location is a curiosity.

One of my friends thinks I'm nuts to even consider "How Rough Do You Want It?".  She said "You really want that stuck on you the rest of your life?  You really want people to see that every day?"

Ummm, DERF!

'Sides, it will be in a spot I can conceal at work (work doesn't allow visible tattoo's, but district manager doesn't really care so long as they're not offensive).  Worse case scenario, one might only see the top of the woman's head.

It will remain B & W, too.   I'm too cheap to color it and I've heard that they can lose detail in doing so.

I like #2.  But I wouldn't do the caption.

Color doesn't cost anymore than black ink (unless you're using like 50 colors).  In fact, my artist charges more for black & gray work cuz it's harder to get the shading right.
