irish step dancing info I would like

Hi I looking for Irish step dancing studio that is in raleigh for my self down the road and for eventually down the road for my little one.  Does dancing in irish dancing start at three like other dance forms?

I don't have any idea about when Irish dancing lessons can start, but here's a bump up for you.  :)

typically children do not start Irish Dancing till they are of 5 years of age is what i have heard but  they may start them a little younger

I do know of one     Martin Percival School of Irish Dance

here in colorado that they welcome children from 3 to 18 for their classes so they are out there you just gotta check the fine print lol

I think it depends on if its a dance studio or private teacher. I took Highland Dancing ( similar to Irish Step but the Scottish form of it) for 4 years in HS. I went to a private teacher who had a studio in her house. She took kids starting at 3 if they were potty trained but I dont think you could compete till I want to say 4 or 5. I would look around at different places and ask.
