My daughters school is doing a silent auction in a couple weeks, everyone is required to bring in a basket. First of all, I'm assuming a silent auction is like a tricky tray...is that right? Second of all anyone have any idea what kind of theme I could do? And how much should I spend? All profits go to the school which is a wonderful private Christian school so I don't mind spending the money to make one, I just have no idea what a good amount is.

Thanks!

I wouldn't spend more than $25 to $50 on the basket and its contents.

If you can bake, you should do one filled with goodies (I can't bake so well).

If you can sew or anything like that, you can fill.one with those sorts of things.

A basket filled with third grade supplies, or whatever grade.

A basket filled with baby stuff.

A basket of flowers, and gift cards. Etc.

Movie theme with movie passes candy and in a big popcorn bowl with a few sodas or waters or even gift card to video store. Book theme blanket, book light, coffee mug and cocoa and gift card to the book store maybe even some cookies.

A herb basket? You could make a planter the basket and put some seed packets, small garden tools and maybe a little flower pot gnome. Tis the season to be gardening.
