nice right? Anyway i just wanted some advice..right now he has a boot on...the dr said i could decide if we wanted to do a cast tuesday... Im not sure which is beter and what will help him best in the long run. With the boot he can walk..but is that good he walks or do we not want him to walk? Will the cast be easier to change him or is the boot easier for that?? Any mamas with experience in this???

My son broke his at age 2. He had the cast. It wasn't really too bad. It was a walking cast and he only had it on for 4 weeks......I felt like he would have a chance for it to heal better in a cast. Good luck!

IMO, I would get the cast. Too many times I've seen people go from boot to cast because they weren't healing right.

Sorry about your son.

I would do cast to stay on the safe side. Think of it this way if you let the foot heal right you wont have to worry if it heals wrong and then your ds needs surgery to fix it.
