 If a random stranger assumed the father of your child/children was not involved in their lives, or if they automatically assumed you are a single mom?

No. I wouldn't be offended...

But it would make me sad that people think that is the norm these days..

I deal with it all the time because he drives truck and is gone alot. It pisses me off because he is an amazing father and our girls adore their daddy!

 Oh they do.. I've run into a couple people at work who act surprised that I have 2 kids with the same man and we're married..

& that's just because kids come up alot in small talk.. :(

  People make stupid assumptions about others all the time. This is a spin off of a post were a single mother was offended because someone in a store assumed her sons father was involved in his life. I was just wondering if people would of been offended if it were the other way around.

I don't much weight or thought into the assumption of strangers.
