Yup. That is what I thought. I have never made sweet tea. I try not to drink my calories... I eat enough of them. So yesterday I made iced Tea. I wanted to sweeten it. Probably not the amount of sugar that would make a true Southern Sweet Tea, but, for this west coaster, sweet enough to be yummy. So in this big container I was making the black tea I added 4 teaspoons of sugar LOL Thinking, this will make it sweet. Uh... no. It sure didn't.

How much sugar do you use to make your sweet tea? Its getting hot and it just sounded oh so good.

I make tea in a 3 quart pitcher. I use 1/2 to 3/4 to be honest its just a scoop. I tried measuring it once and used 1 cup and it was like drinking sugar water. Add the sugar while its still warm.
