How on earth do you wean a baby off of a bottle?

I've never done it before. He's 11 mos and can't quite figure out how to use a Sippy. He only gets a bottle 4 days a week when he's away from me. So it's not a comfort object. . .

Uhm idk much about weaning....  I guess just start giving it to him only at certain times.  For instance only at night.  And then after a while just get rid of it -- cold turkey style.  It'll be a rough couple of times but he'll forget it about and move on.  GL

Mine were extremely easy. I just stopped giving it to them. They never fussed. I was real lucky in that aspect. Potty training was a different story. :)

I used the almanac method. Kind of complicated to explain.

idk, never used one, but my kids started using a sippy about 8 or 9 months.

Try different kinds of sippies. You will find one that works for him. I always throw away all of the bottles the day after they turn 1. I am a mean mom. :)
