yeast infection on 3 month old.

 I think my 3 month old has a yeast infection on her bottom. its a little warm to the touch and it keeps spreading instead of getting better. Im pretty sure its not a rash.

I have a perscription from when she has a yeast infection under her neck, can i apply the same stuff to her bottom. I think its called Nastatin cream or something like that...

Anyone know...

I'm sure you probably can - but ask her pediatrician just in case. Good luck!

 do i need to steer clear of any holes??? or is it kinda like desitin where it doesnt matter...

My dh is an rn his advice is put a thin layer on the yeast infection avoid getting in the vagina. You can pm me if you have any other questions. He is an ER nurse so his speciality isn't pedi but he sees them often.
