SOMEONE IN THIS GROUP SAID A MOTHER CAN RECIEVE WELFARE FOR 5 TO 7RS, MY QUESTION IS HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, WHEN WELFARE WAS REFROM SINCE 1997, I GOGGLE THIS INFO, CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME, NO BASHING, I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, WHAT STATE ALLOWS THIS?

Cash assistance is 5 years but can be extended in very few circumstances. Food stamps can be received for a lifetime.

Nation wide is 5 yrs on TANDF (cash aid) food stamps have no time limit.
