did your 2 year old know it was his/her birthday?

My DD is turning 2 today, and has absolutely no grasp on the concept of a birthday...or age. I'm pretty sure my older one did.

Was your child aware of his/her birthday?

God yes, then she asked everyday after when her next birthday was. Christmas was the same way.

Aww my youngest son turned two today too. He didn't realize it but his three brothers were extra nice to him today. They kept reminding each other it was Ashtons birthday.

Ashton learned how to say Happy Birthday today.

Happy Birthday to your LO!

Yes my daughter knew it was her birthday at 2 and that she shares her birthday with her brother. (they were born a year apart)

My daughter will be 2 in August and she just recently learned how to say Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday to you...which sounds like "APPYBERDAY-UH-YOU"!

Its adorable...She understands its a happy, fun thing but I don't think she can conceptualize that she is getting older.
