Amber Alert Cancelled for Missing 4-Month Old Baby Girl of Wyoming

The Wyoming Police Department says 4-month old Natashia Ney-Keiraha Otero has been found safe. Natashia was last seen by her mother at Walter and Division while boarding a Rapid bus with her biological father, Orlando Otero, around 4:00 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the visit was pre-planned and agreed upon in advance by both parents. Natashia was scheduled to return to her mother at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, but when that didn't happen, the mother called police.

During an investigation, police talked to a witness who says Natashia's father was seen in the Burton Heights area around 4:30 p.m. without the baby girl.

Police then discovered Otero was arrested later that evening and taken to the Kent County Jail on unrelated misdemeanor charges. The girl was not with him at the time.

Wyoming Police Department Captain Kim Koster says "We're concerned because we know a 3 to 4 month old can't take care of itself. So, if we can't locate the child and find out it's in the care of an adult that has its best interest in mind, then we'd be very concerned."

Police are working with the Rapid bus company to see if there's any surveillance video of the father getting off of the bus and if the child was with him at that time.

Police haven't said where the little girl was found. We'll continue to follow this story and bring you any updates as they come in to the newsroom.
