Someone help me or DH is gonna get it!! He tried cooking with my brand new pots and pans and ruined the frying pan!! He burned a pancake to a crisp on it and now its all stained and won't come off. How can I get this off?? Is there any way?? Pic included in replies :(

Put water in it and put it on the stove.  Just like it "burned" on, it will burn off.

On a side note, I am so thankful that my DH is an amazing cook.

Try soaking a dryer sheet in the pan for a while

my df did the same thing trying to make hash browns.

fill the pan with water and let it come to a boil...that usually helps loosen it. then i take a scrubber and some baking soda and scrub it really good. for some reason scrubbing in a circular motion works best. however if u have nonstick coating on your pans you have to be careful of the type of scrubber you use. mine were stainless steel...it came off with some effort.

Comet or Ajax, just wash with your regular dish detergent real well when your done.

Thanks everyone. I have it boiling on the stove now, I can already see some of its coming off. Hopefully I can scrub the rest off.

If it doesn't come off with scrubbing, pour in some baking soda, vinegar and a little warm water and let it sit overnight.
