Double bagging anyone?

For those who don't use reusable bags or forget to bring them all the time (like me) does your grocery store double bag all your groceries? A lot of stores do it here. Sometimes I'll buy just a loaf of bread and a can of corn and they will double bag it! I always remove one of the bags and give it back to them.

I only double bag heavy items, such as milk. If the stuff is light, no

I go to supertarget and those bags are awesome. They hardly ever need to double bag stuff!! Not even a gallon of milk!! I sometimes forget my bags but I just tell them to load em up and skip bagging milk or big things!!
But double bagging bread?! LOL

Only heavy stuff. I dont bring my own bags I'm gonna have them start loading in paper so I can use that as trash bags.

when i worked as a cashier we were taught to double bag heavy items; or if they wanted paper;; to put heavy items or leaky type items (meat, ice cream) in plastic and then inside apaper bag.

for meats or ice cream we were taught to double bag them.

even if people use the reusable's we were still taught to bag them before sticking them in there.
