This is a long story I am going to make short. My son has tubes in his ears and still gets ear infections. He has wax draining out of both ears. which means ear infections again. He has a schedualed doctors appt tuesday. Is there anything I can do between now and Tuesday. His doc is on vacation.

nope he is 3 and I breastfed for 5 weeks and didn't make enough milk. I wanted to breastfeed to avoid what my oldest went through but his is worse and I couldn't make enough breast milk. I could pump 3 hrs and get about 5 oz if I was lucky.

When my daughter had tubes in her ears, they told me that if stuff was draining out it wasn't necessarily an ear infection.  The tubes just help drain water and stuff out of the ears to prevent an infection.  There were a few times when she did have stuff draining from her ears, but they weren't infected at all.

If they are hurting him, then you can pretty much just give tylenol or advil for the pain.
