Lullabies = horrid?

Why are they now changing the words to classic lullabies, because they are supoosedly disturbing.

Anyone else seen this?

What are your thoughts?

I will keep the classics thank you!

I can understand why they'd change the "ring around the rosie" song. Cuz it was about leppers!

Who's changing them?  I know for years now some people have made a big deal about them, but nothing ever really comes from it.

they've been changing them for years now, at least since my 17 year old was a wee little one.  if they're going to change something, they ought to edit Ladybug Ladybug fly away home - I mean, your house is on fire?  and they could work some magic on The Velveteen Rabbit, which caused some distressed sobbing the other night at our house when they were putting him in the burn pile.  someone could have warned me!

 I dont care who tries to change them I have been singing many lullibies to my kids for many years now and Im not going to change the way I sing any of them.

Don't change em. Everything that surrounds kids today is too soft, politically correct and sanitized. All the fun is taken out of being a kid!
