My 5 yr old daughter has a uti or yeast infection

Is it normal or not? I dont know I was raped when I was little and ALWAYS had them.

Is this your diagnosis or a doctors? And yes it is possible. I was warned that even a small baby can develop a yeast infection without proper care.

While it could be an indicator that something is going on, it's not uncommon either. Has she been on antibiotics recently? That could easily cause a yeast infection.

I've been told if they don't wipe properly it can cause one, and bubble bath can cause a uti

My 4 year old has been getting UTI's a lot. The doctor said its because she isn't wiping very well.

She probably isn't cleaning herself properly or well enough.  This may sound gross but teach her to wash her private parts with water, that's what Muslims do.  It's a lot cleaner that way and don't got to worry about bacteria or anything.  Use soap, water and a washcloth.

a UTi/ yeast infection can happen at any age   My two year old son has a UTI right now:(

Maybe she is sensitive to fragrances and dyes? Is she cleaning herself well? Those are the two main causes of UTIs and yeast infections.
