It really is easier to poop if you put your feet on a stool.  LOL

 

 

 

FYI - I did not smell the toilet paper.

 i had to potty with my foot on a stool when i had my knee surgeries lol. other than that i havent tried it.

 It also helps to have your feet on your tippy toes. LOL Something about the way our bodies are made for squatting to poop and it keeps the muscles relaxed instead of tightening them and making it more difficult... I think I learned that from Dr. Oz. lol

As long as you are putting pressure on your feet and they are flat it will help.  There is a pressure point in your foot that helps relax your perineum, which will let pooping come more easy.  (Which also means pushing during labor is easier, which is why some women naturally squat to push).
