I really don't eat that horrible stuff when it's cheaper and easy just to make homemade pasta....HOWEVER, it would serve it with sides like salad, green beans, peas, garlic toast, etc. Things that I would serve with my homemade pasta.

I have made it, but not very often cause its so high in sodium and other stuff, (I make my own HH homemade usually), but I just serve it with a side veggie usually.

I make it with a salad or veggie since there is already starch in the macaroni in the hamburger helper

DH loves the stroganoff so I make a homemade version. I brown the ground beef with onions then add in spinach. I serve green beans on the side.

I make it very seldom but I double the required hamburger in it cause the noodles turn to sugar.  Sometimes I mix veggies in it sometimes on the side generally green beans or carrots. no corn it turns to sugar to fast too. That would give you to much sugar.  I have to live like a diabetic for my sons sake so I know wht does and doesn't turn to sugar. I am not preaching but a lot of people don't realize this.
