Stability is not about how much you make it is how consistent the income is but whether it is enough depends on you lifestyle, you can live off that you just may not have the fanciest of things....

In NYC, no - unless you want to live in the Bronx or the outskirts of Brooklyn.

i'm n southern ca (not la) and we live very nicely off 80,000 a year thats a family of 7 too
