What things did you see/ go through as a child that you don't want your child exposed to?

Being bullied. It breaks my heart just thinking about it.

School bullying to an unbelievable extreme. Everything else was peachy keen. My parents worked hard to give me an amazing childhood and I'm thankful for it everyday. I hope I can do the same for my boys.

Having to receive food from our church and hand me down clothes my whole childhood because my parents had 7 kids and couldnt make ends meet. Dont get me wrong. I had a great, loving childhood but my parents definitely bit off more than they could chew. My kids get hand me dwns but they have lots of clothes bought and meant ony for them. We spare nothing on food...once our main bils are paid....food ( and yummy food at that) is our main priority.
