Tom and Jerry...not in my house with edit in red!

I was watching Tom and Jerry with ds today. He is 16 months btw. Anyhow, noticed how violent it was and then he laughed. I started thinking, what if he  lights my toes on fire one day because of what he saw on the TV.?

It was then and there that my life flashed before my eyes. I just know if I let my son watch shows like this he will turn into a trouble maker. You don't drop bowling balls on people. You don't light them on fire. How is this funny?

That is it. No Tom and Jerry in my house.

I am sorry for those who have suffered at the expense of these cartoons. It would be nice if a petition would be taken seriously. Then we can prevent tragedies and  less people have to suffer. I worry about future generations turning to a life of crime all because of making light of senseless pranks.

We must be lucky.  Our boys have been watching Tom and Jerry since they were babies and have never tried to imitate something they saw, they're six and eight now.

I am with you. My son loves them but wasn't able to watch them until he was almost 7.
