White parents are nicer than black parents?

According to twitter, white parents are much nicer when it comes to parenting. There are trending topics going around that are "white parent quotes" and "black parent quotes"

Examples:

White parent quotes: Good morning, honey. Get ready for school.

Black parent quotes: Get your a** up and you better not miss the bus!

White parent quotes: kid "can I have allowance" parent "of course, honey."

Black parent quote: No you can not! I ALLOW you to live here and eat my food.

White parent quote: You're grounded.

Black parent quote: Bring me the belt!!

I don't agree with these at all. I did not make any of them up. Just stuff I am seeing on twitter. What do you think? Do you agree that white parents are nicer than black parents in general?

You are seeing this on twitter? Huh?

Yes. Not by the people I follow but if you click on the "trending topics" it gives you a list of all the tweets with the phrase "white parent quotes" or "black parent quotes"

I don't know about that. I hear a little bit of both from white and black parents. I think it is in all how you were raised when you were a kid or even where you lived.

I agree.  There is a great book out there by Ruby Payne about class differences (Framework for Understanding Poverty).  I don't remember the exact numbers, but they were staggering.  Something like, children from middle class homes heard 1 in 4 comments to be negative while those in poverty hear 50 in 55 comments to be negative.

I'm not sure about the numbers but I know there was a HUGE (and very sad) difference.

Here is another black vs white parents and asian too.

so a kid comes home with an A minus:

White family: damn, my kid wasn't as lazy as i thought

Asian family: You dishonor! You get A plus next time!

Black family: Your grades are too high. Keep that shit up and we won't be eligible for food stamps.

I think there just sterotypes or jokes . But Damn I act like such an asian parent
