Question About Taking Your Basal Body Temperature...

Hi, I have begun taking my basal body temps to track ovulation.  I have been setting my alarm for 6 am and just moving enough to turn on my light and take my temp before getting up or talking.  I usually get 3 plus hours of sleep before temping.  Well, this am my dd got up at 6 so I got up and took care of her and didn't temp.  I went back to sleep for 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs and woke up and said a few things to my husband and then temped.  Will that throw my temp off, the fact that I spoke a little and only had 1 1/2 hrs to 2 hrs. of sleep before temping?  Should I still use the temp?  Does it throw it off a lot?  Thanks!

If you usually take it at six, but this morning you got up to take care of dd at six and then slept another couple of hours, that will likely throw it off.
