I finally get my house to myself for a few hours because my youngest started school, and my ILs keep just dropping by!! No call, nothing! They never do. I am just catching up on laundry, surfing the net and watching CSI, and there goes the doorbell....again! I find it rude and irritating! Ok Vent over, thank you for reading....

I wouldn't answer the door and if they say something just tell them you were taking a nap.

LOL! I wish I could just not answer the door. But they will keep on knocking and ringing the bell. They rattle the doorknob and everything. The only reason they rang the bell was because the door was locked...

Such a bummer. Rush them out. Tell them you were just on the way out the door.

Tell them not to come over unless they call so you can make sure you don't have other plans and are home. If that fails, keep the door locked and don't answer the door until they go away, or if they come at a certian time, make sure you ae not home during that time.

I would, but my dh is very close to his parents and would be very upset if I did...
