Spend on household items? I'm trying to do my budget and need some help deciding what a good amount will be to budget for. There is only my dd and I here, if that helps.

Are you talking about groceries also. With groceries we spend about $1200. Without groceries we spend $200-$300.

I get $155 a month in FS which usually lasts a month bc I'm very frugal. I'm just talking about house hold necessities.

Do you mean like groceries, soap, cleaning supplies, etc? If so, $400-$450, family of 4.

Just household items..I have no clue. I make most of my own cleaners. I dont buy paper towels...I use cloth ones and wash them. I have a steam mop so dont buy floor cleaners or disposable mop pads.

I buy giant quantities of toilet paper so it lasts a long time.

lol I guess I wasnt much help.

About $600 to $650.  Things are rather expensive where we live.

using cloth or disposable diapers on the little one?

Us we use cloth so expenses are low for extras, 100 maybe for our house I use a reuse a lot of things, our laundry soap last forever I buy the large 100 load containers of free n clear. You can get printable coupons for some of your items to help reduce cost.

with disposables expect an extra 20 per week in the month.

How do you make your own cleaners? I'm all for saving money. I'm a poor single mother any advice would be awesome.
