I told her no.

My downstairs neighbor just came upstairs and asked me to quiet my children down. She said they were running around too much and making too much noise.

This is the second time in 2 weeks that she has requested it. The first time, I smiled and said no problem, this time I told her no, that I wouldn't be doing that.

The reason is because it's 7:15 in the evening. We have rules in my apartment complex regarding noise, and the noise ordinance starts at 9 pm. My kids go to bed at 8 pm sharp, every night. They never make noise after 9 pm, ever.

She, on the other hand, has two dogs that bark a LOT, and they bark at all hours of the day and night, especially while my children are trying to fall asleep, and often keeping me up or waking me up at night.

I politely told her no and gave her the explanation I just gave you. She  walked away in a huff, I'm sure she'll be complaining to the management now, and that I'll be bashed to hell for posting this here.

I'm going to go run around with my kiddoes now....

I agree with you. Sounds like she just likes to complain.

LOL!sidesplittinglaughter

I've lived in apts and an upstairs neighbor (kids or not) walking around, doing daily stuff is nothing! Maybe she shouldn't live on the bottom!
