Not sure what to do

My car died last week it won't be getting fixed so my ex gave me the other car we use to own together and it's a 6 speed. I have to get use to driving it bc I only drove it when I had to and avoided all lights and hills. Anyway I am training an hour from my home and leave at 4 am in the dark I have never driven it in the dark lol so my mom offered to drive it to work and I can take her car. I'm scared that's sad bc in 23 and scares of a car.... I don't know why I'm such a baby!!! I gotta grow up eventually should I push myself and drive in the dark or give myself one more day and a weekend worth of practice?

Driving scared can be dangerous I'd give yourself another day.

I'm 28 and I can't drive standard!  I'd take your mom up on her offer.

I would not drive a car that I did not feel comfortable in under any circumstances

let your mom drive it. wait until you are more confident before you push yourself. safety first.

I'd get more practice...The more you drive it, the more comfortable you'll become...I did with my Jeep...
