That is what DH and I clear after taxes and insurance. It seems like everyone thinks we should be living on easy street but we aren't. We still have to budget and scrape by. It's frustrating.

If DH brought home that much we'd be living pretty well. BUT it all depends on location, cost of living etc. We live in an area where the cost of living is pretty low.
