My 9mo old just got his first tooth. What, if anything, should I give him now that his tooth is in? (e.g. biscuits, toast etc.)

He's rolling over, but not crawling and isn't a supported sitter yet (he's very close). So should I give him anything at all? I heard you should wait until your baby is crawling or is a supported sitter.

it might be okay to give him some purees. nothing solid yet though. he needs more than one tooth to be able to chew any real solids.
