OMG....BFF is in tears! HELP WITH PREGNANCY!!!

She is saying that the baby is "in her ribs" and it hurts when she breathes! Her dr said that it's normal to feel the baby there since she's so far along, she's due on Christmas, and he's gonna be a BIG baby! Any advise ladies? I feel so bad, I don't know what to tell her, my baby is 10. I don't remember being pregnant...lol!

Tell her to eat/drink something really cold. That always got my sons out of my ribs...They would run from the cold.

Get on her hands and knees and rock his little butt outta her ribs.

Has she tried to physically push on her stomach downward some to see if she can get him to move?  Might work, it's worth a try.

My niece was in my sister's ribs.  Actually dislocated one of the ribs.  Everything turned out just fine, and she was not a big baby.  6lbs 12oz.

My middle child pushed on my ribs a lot.

I never had that issue, my last baby was 9 pounds and they were all head down the whole time but never bothered my ribs... However many of my friends have complained about it, I think its very normal.

Here is a bump! Oh and what is a big baby? How do they know?

It is very painful. Tell her that she's not alone..

This.. Tell her to drop her stomach low, then arch her back... Repeat a few times

I actually would get on my hands and knees and rock hard enough to give her a swish in the fluid so she'd switch her position.
