prenatals when not pregnant, ttc, or breastfeeding? added another question.

I am not ttc, pregnant, or nursing anymore. I have weak nails, my hair grows slowly and is weak as well, so I am considering taking prenatal vitamins to help my nails and hair just as a extra vitamin, do you think I will be ok taking them?

Which brand should I get and would the gummies be ok?

Sure will.  But you should also get blood work done just to rule out other things like a thyroid problem.

My nails have always been weak and my hair is like that because I dyed it so much, so I am working of getting it healthy again. I did have my thyroid tested a few years ago and it came back negative, I didn't have a problem with it. In not even sure that this matters, but I thought that the women with thyroid problems had a hard time with their weight. I have no problems losing weight and I maintain easily. I don't even know if those factor in with thyroid issues.

My doctor says that any woman of child bearing age should take prenatals.

I took it occasionally after I had my youngest since I still had them.

Yes. Also take b12. It helps with hair growth.
