right?

DS's 'grandma' will text me, saying that she misses DS, wishes she can see him. I respond with a 'we should meet up sometime, he'd love to see you'... and thats the end of that. she doesnt call to talk to him, ask about him, etc.

would i be wrong in just deleting her number, and anyone thats in association with them? BD isnt involved either so either way, DS wouldnt know.

You're well within your rights to cut them out of your life if they don't have a relationship with the child.

i know... i just hate seeing how much she interacts with the other kids' moms-- and they dont even have custody of the kids! she puts more into the relationship with the NC-moms (who doesnt even have visitation!), than she does with this grandchild.

ugh!

its been a stressful day

I wouldn't. When your son is old enough to understand and/or ask about them it would be better for you to explain that they chose not to be involved then you didn't encourage them to have a relationship.
