My toddler hits herself when she does something bad.

I rarely spank. I mostly rely on time out now.

But anyway, she's almost three, and when we tell her not to do something, she'll smack her leg or hit her hand against something and start crying.

It really worries me. She's like...self harming :(

What do I do?

When my dd was too and she got angry she would bite herself..Really really freaked me out. I asked her doctor she told me it was a phase and told me to tell her not to do it when she would do it and give her a hug and she stopped.

My 12 year old sister punches her thighs and the floor. She is bipoloar and takes meds but sometimes she gets pushed too far.
