if you had to choose...

If you had to choose to experience a tornado, earthquake, blizzard, flood, or hurricane which would you pick?

I would pick a blizzard.
PROS: you usually know its coming, if you can get out your door the snow is fun, if the electric goes out you can use a kerosene heater & cook on a gas stove...
CONS: you could be stuck in your house...even once the main roads are clear the back ones often take days, shoveling sucks!

Now you pick!

a blizzard...seems like less damage is done. I hate being cold but it just seems safer...

Blizzard. A blizzard usually doesn't cause as much damage.

Same here! But in notre dame IN. I wonder if people will more often pick to experience the natural disasters that happen where they live/were raised since they know how to deal. Like FL hurricanes...etc!

Blizzard.
I live in upstate ny. Bundle up and start a fire in every fire place. We have board games, a gas stove, a million blankets, and about 30 cans of soup in the basement.

I deal with 10+ blizzards every winter.. I think I can handle another.

Hurricanes.. floods.. now THOSE scare the shit out of me.

I am used to blizzards as I live in canada and there is usually enough warning so I will put that first . I have been in hurricanes but never a severe one . I have never experienced a tornado or a serious flood

How come earthquake isnt a choice?  I have experienced two and loved them...  Out of the ones you picked though, definitley blizzard...  We could quite happily survive here for an extended period of time being snowed in, even if we lost power, we have a gas fireplace, and we have a ton of blankets, we'd be fine
