Lime in a dishwasher.....how do you get it out?

We have bought two of those dishwasher cleaners. I want my dishes clean;(

oh! Lime scale. In my head, I was wondering why you didn't just take the fruit out....... I'm special today.
Have you tried the CLR cleaner? It seems to work well when our shower heads get clogged. Or, if you're wanting a more eco-friendly cleaner try Python brand lime scale remover. You get it from a pet shop, usually in the fish supply section. I use it to clean out the cat's water fountain because it won't hurt them.

I would try vinegar if I were you.  My hubby works at a lime mine and his car is always covered in lime.  Vinegar takes it right off.
