I saw a bunch of these posts and wanted to join in lol.

1. we dont all give up our kid because we wanted to. Some of us just wanted to give our kids a better life then we could have if we kept them.

2. I have an open adoption with my daughter and her parents and she knows I am her belly mommy and she knows that my boys are her brothers.

3. Dont say that just because someone gave up her kid that she is not a mother. The adoption place I went to has a birthmother day celebration before mothers day.

I'm sorry. :/ This may get ugly. I'm a birthmother as well, not by choice but I am... though I do not feel like I am that baby's mom. Her mom is raising her. Yes I guess I was a uterus/incubator for her, and I'm technically a birthmom, but to call myself her mom would take away from her real mom's right IMO... so I don't. But that's just me... each person is different.

I totally agree. I kind of worded it wrong. Her mom is totally her mom but some people are insensitive to the birthmothers feelings like it didnt hurt to do it.
