I HAVE TAKEN HER TO THE DR AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE MY A ANSWER THAT IS SATISFYING TO ME. SHE IS IN THE LOW 5TH PERCENT TILE FOR HER WEIGHT AND HAS NOT GAINED ANY WEIGHT IN OVER 6 MONTHS. I know this may sound wierd but is she making herself sick?? I had a freind whose little girl woulr make herself sick don't know why and she was 2.... My only sugestions I can give you really is get plenty of pedialite.. And try giving her the children's verison of ensure.. And try another doctor.. Did she just start this or has this been going on for awhile. Maybe she is allergic to something.. Believe it or not that can be the problem as well.. But I would try and focus on trying to get something in her system that will stay in there.. and look into other doctors.. A second opinion never hurts you know.. That Is all I can say to help. I hope it was at least a little help..

As a nurse - I have to ask -

1) Has her diet changed recently? Have you added anything new?
2) Have you gotten a SECOND opinion?  I would ask to be referred to a GI doctor that specializes in the gastrointestinal system.
3) Has anything changed in her life? Starting daycare? Divorce? Children usually react to stress physically - vomiting or wetting the bed (when they've been potty trained already)

I would definitely ask for a second opinion if your 'mom' sensors are telling you that something isn't right.  Moms know their children best.

Sounds like it is time for a second opinion to me!  Being in the fifth percentile isn't bad, IF she has been there (or around there on that track) the whole time... the vomitting is concerning... it could be a stress thing, or it could be a medical issue.  Please feel free to stop by the Children's Health Issues Group for some more input!   I hope that your little one is ok!
