Not drama, but promise its totally worth the read!
This weekend the hubby, kids, and I went to the city to get new tires put on my car (because they are cheaper out there then they are here). We went to discount tire in Orem, UT, there was a lady with 2 children infront of hubby in line getting a flat repaired, the manager at the store told the lady that he cannot let her leave in the condition that her tires were in, because he could see cords, at which time the lady informed the manager that she couldn't afford tires, the manager took her around and looked at tires and she just kept telling him I can't afford any of these. The manager took her to another display of tires asked her if they would work, and she again said I can't afford them, at which time the manager told her I'm not asking you to afford them, I'm asking you if they will work, she said yes they would be fine. The manager put 4 brand new tires on her car, and told her if she gets money for them later down the road then to come in and pay then, if not don't worry about it, but she was not leaving without them. So needless to say discount tire has earned our business for a lifetime!
I cried when my hubby told me this story, because it was truly very amazing, and it was nice to know that there are still people in this horribly screwed up world that actually care!
It's so wonderful to know that there are still people like that in the world! Thank you for sharing!!
Oh wow! That is amazing! (Pregnant and emotional, and actually tearing up a little.)
