that made you so uptight?  I agree, this does not apply to everyone....but, it does to most on here.  So, what is it?

LOL!!!

I am referring to your life in general.  Why are you so uptight?  Most are.  Seriously.

I had children with special needs and their father was with me for almost 6 years but it was like having a teenager most of the time to deal with instead of a partner.

? "most"? Really? I don't think so. I think the squeaky wheel gets the attention like usual and "most" are tarred with the same brush. But carry on :)

My life is the opposite.  I was raised by uptight, judgemental parents, and my siblings and I all turned out very flexible.  lol

I don't even think that a person has to have special needs kids to have compassion.  Some people are just not born with that.

I may be mistaken, but I think she's referring to not getting why people are upset that someone was making fun of people with disabilities.

Nothing here. I just happen to be compassionate towards others, including people with disabilities. I think it is cruel to mock those who are disabled, especially in a public forum.

That's what this is about, right?

So the question could be "what happened in some people's lives to make them so callous?"
