Did they stay in the washer for too long, maybe?

Try ALL free and clear. Doesn't contain purfumes or dyes and I use it all the time. My clothes always smell and feel amazing. *and I'm a smoker*

Add borax or baking soda to your laundry. About 1/4 cup should work

So, I'll be the bearer of bad news.  :O  You need to get some tide washing machine cleaner.  Our clothes were so stinky after being washed and dried.  My DH finally got pissed, pulled out the washer and took it apart.  There was gunk inside the drum.  So nasty.  To keep it clean now, we use that.  But if it doesn't work, you will have to pull the drum of your washer out and clean it.  I know, alot of work, but no more stinky sweat smelling clothes!  :)

Run your washer with nothing but bleach in it. That helped me
