Can you file taxes without your ssc on hand if they have made copies of them?

We never take are ssc we just tell them the numbers

You can file taxes without a SS card.

If you are asking about H&R block and what not - I have no clue.

but i have filed my taxes for 22 years and never produceda SS card. just the number.

Without the card? Or without the number? All social security numbers must be on the tax return when you file it, or your return will be rejected or held.
