'Heroes' Series. Flaw? Or am I missing something? *edit

So I got netflix recently (awesome!) and i started on the show Heroes and i think I noticed a flaw but not sure...

So the father/son Suresh (sp?) doctors developed a list of a lot of people they believe to have abilities. They made the list going on genetic gene pool (right?). The cheerleader, Claire is on that list. But she was supposed to be declared dead at 18 months from the fire along with her mom. Her name then being 'something' Gordon. So technically, the Claire idenity doesn't exist. How in the hell did she get on the list? Shouldn't it have been the Gordon name on there, not her name given by her baby-stealing dad?

I think I figured out what had happened. I think maybe I was mistaken about how the doctor obtained the info. I thought he was tracing through decendents but apparently it was from where these people gave blood or had blood drawn? I think I remember Suresh telling Syler that at one point. Am I right?

Well I know that. I was just trying to figure out why the name 'Claire Bennett' got on the list the Suresh doctor made, when going by records it would seem this baby popped up out of no where. Her name when she was born should be on the list, not Claire Bennet.

That show is so dumb.... It ends sucky and it seems to repeat and repeat and repeat...

Because she becomes Claire Bennett. That is who she is. So if it was the other name it would be inaccurate. The future was known maybe?

Yeah I never had time for tv when the show first came out do to my little ones. Thats why I'm just now catching up, now that my kids are older, lol :) It really is a good show though, this flaw hardly makes a difference in the entertainment.

And ic seen the whole series , loved it!!!! But I didn't catch that...

When you watch the show more, things get explained (somewhat).  Her new dad works for people who control those with abilities.. and it gets pretty deep as far as who knows what and who all is involved.. the father ended up with her because of who he worked for... it's complicated.  Just keep watching.  ;)
