When we told the family that we're expecting, everyone immediately asked what names we had picked. We're set on Parker for a boy, but are lost on girl names. Dh's aunt suggested using Parker for a girl and everyone agreed! I'm usually not a fan of unisex names-- especially super masculine names for girls. But I could almost picture having a baby girl named Parker. Do you think it's ugly? Too trendy? She'll hate me for giving her a boys' name? Or do you like it?

there is an actress named Parker Posey
I think it's cute. If you're concerned about it sounding masculine, give her a feminine middle name.

Personally, I like it. But if you don't, then don't use it.
