I would look at lowermybills.com because you can get a few quotes from different places at once. My husband and I have one of our policies through AAA, which was one of the lower priced policies we found. It will most likely take a little bit of digging to find a good plan and price though, because you have to go through all of the medical testing before they can give you an exact price point for your own policy. You can find approximate prices on places like lowermybills.com but you won't have a difinitive price until you go through the medical tests with whatever company you're interested in.
Good luck! We went through 3 medical test phases with 3 different companies before settling on ours.
Ohh, maybe I misread the OP. I thought she was looking for life insurance for herself and SO, to help support her kids if anything ever happened to herself or SO. I never bought life insurance policies on my kids but I have heard good things about Illinios Mutual and their kids' policies. I believe it's a one time payment of $300, not once a year/month, and then they are insured until after they're 20.
I think I misread it. I thought she was looking for LI for the girls. Aflac is a good place for life insurance for all ages.

Lol maybe I'm the one who has it wrong. My grandpa passed away and when he did my mom and her sister both got money from life insurance. I want that. Would that be under me or them??
about five years ago we were uninsured and i got a humana plan for my ds and I (dh insured through work, it was a really crap policy). i didnt have any issues with the plan we had and it was less than $200/mo. certainly was better than being uninsured. i think pretty much most of the big insurance companies have individual/non group coverage now. good luck!!
It's through Allstate.
