So I'm in the waiting room in the peds office and it's a full waiting room today. There is a boy about 5ish who just threw up wall over the floor ...hes sock poor kid. What made me mad was that the mom was complaining about cleaning it up, she was like "shit, this is gross,ugh,.....ugh...this it's nasty..damn!...wack!" I'm thinking lije dude it's clear, looks like water ..idk I've been through it w both my girls and it doesn't bother me nor do I complain.

Ugh :(  One time I was in a restaurant with my parents & kiddos & a table got sat next to us with 2 adults & 3 kids.  Before their food got there (while we were eating ours), the middle kid throws up EVERYWHERE!!  And then the mom was getting all pissy that she had to clean it up.  I couldn't understand it.  The waitstaff was trying to be helpful bringing towels & stuff, but they don't have to clean up your kid's puke!  The kicker....the family STAYED there to eat their lunch & tried to feed the kid a hamburger right afterwards.  What?

I'm a sympathy puker. So I would be cleaning mine and my kids. Why didn't the Dr give him a puke bucket thingy? And if that mother hit her kid I would of said something.

yeah she shouldnt have complained or cleaned it -  that is what the staff is for - sorry if my kid pukes in public - i know there is someone whos the janitor of the mall or the office... etc...  i would want back into a private room immediately - they should not have a puking kid around others...   and iwould certainly not clean it up - unless i was home ...

yeah i would say wrap up the food that didnt get hit and we would leave - and leave a big tip - and heck no - not cleaning it!   sorry!  thats life.   you dont clean up after yourself in a restuaruant.  why would you clean puke of all things - idk my kid never ever pukes but damn - thats the point of eating out - someone else cleans it up...  if i simply didnt want to cook - we would be having take out :)

I hear ya.  Shoot, I've had them throw up on me!  It really doesn't even bother me anymore!  Poor kid.  Way for her to make him feel worse.  :(

What?!! I certainly wouldnt expect someone else to clean up after my kids.  Mop and disinfect the area yeah but not clean it up.

Autism is not something my son has.  It is integral to who he is.  Eliminate the autism, and you eliminate him.  Think about it.

Poor baby! I got lucky I guess....where God gave me a lack in patience, he gave me a big tolerance of other stuff...i.e. puking, etc. I know I would feel so bad for my baby. And i'd probably be saying sorry to the staff about a hundred times. Lol.
